Senior Manager, Learning and Development - CH1118
The Senior Manager Learning and Development is responsible for facilitating training and providing support and consultation throughout the organization in accordance with the organizational learning strategy, which includes new associate orientation and on-boarding, manager and supervisory training & development, leadership development, department and brand related training, service delivery and guest experience, and compliance and technical skills training related to food and beverage service and operations. This position will also manage the implementation of learning and development programs, assess outcomes, and identify training and development needs that will enhance associate skills, performance, productivity and quality of work and build loyalty and engagement to the organization. This is a management position and generally reports to a Director or Sr. Director.
•Travels to various branches to facilitate, follow up on and provide consultation in accordance with the organizational learning and development strategy
•Effectively delivers and supports formal and informal training and learning through various platforms including in-person, web-based and one-on-one
•Assesses and seeks feedback on learning and development programs and workshops to ensure they are best in class and achieving desired goals
•Coaches, follows up with and supports branch/field trainers to ensure location training is effective and on-going
•Measures the effectiveness of learning and development programs through observation, testing and auditing; makes recommendations to increase effectiveness and enhance associate engagement and learning experience
•Facilitates train-the-trainer programs through various platforms in a manner that is both engaging and effective
•Evaluates train-the-trainer program effectiveness providing recommendations for improvements
•Performs branch site visits, as appropriate, to evaluate effectiveness of learning and development initiatives and makes recommendations to increase impact and enhance associate engagement
•Provides branch management with appropriate measurable data and recommends action-driven training and learning solutions for continuous improvement
•Provides leadership and training expertise to the branch/field trainers and operators regarding all learning and development initiatives; gains buy in and support on programs, tools and initiatives through acting as performance consultant and support figure
