Summary:

The Sales Audit Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day cash functions within the Sales Audit department, including associate-related tasks (interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation). This position is responsible for monitoring all week, month, and period close cash activities, ensuring all processing is completed accurately and on a timely basis, participating in a variety of process improvement projects to streamline current processes and improve efficiency, and performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by Management. This is an exempt position and typically reports to the Assistant Manager, Sales Audit.

Essential Functions:
  • Manages the day-to-day cash activities, including monitoring workflow and resource allocation and ensuring deadlines are timely met
  • Manages associate-related tasks including interviewing, hiring, coaching and performance evaluation
  • Identifies, researches and resolves daily cash variances
  • Performs transaction edits
  • Generates analytical reports and provides appropriate trend analysis
  • Ensures that the cash over & short reports are accurate and delivered on a timely basis
  • Meets weekly, monthly, and period end deadlines
  • Reconciles all cash data to ensure accuracy
  • Ensures adherence to departmental quality audits and follows up to ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Works to resolve system related issues
  • Participates in a variety of process improvement projects

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
  • Requires a High School diploma or general education development (GED) diploma; Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or other Business-related course of study preferred
  • Requires minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Requires minimum of 2 years accounting experience
  • Requires reconciliation experience
  • Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; PeopleSoft Financials knowledge preferred
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with individuals
  • Requires basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions
