Job Description

The Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations, greeting visitors, assisting with facilities
management issues, providing concierge services, and performing all other duties as assigned by
management. This is a non-exempt position and reports to the Senior Manager, Facilities.
Essential Functions:
• Manages front desk operations including greeting visitors, answering, screening, and forwarding phone
calls to the appropriate parties, and providing concierge services as necessary
• Assists with facilities management issues including contacting vendors and building management or
facility manager to resolve problems
• Activates, deactivates, and maintains security/parking access cards
• Maintains online conference room schedule and ensures conference room cleanliness
• Drafts service work requests


Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
• Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Requires aptitude for telephone operation and some knowledge of telephone consoles
• Requires excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Requires pleasant phone voice, poised, extremely professional demeanor, and personable personality
• Requires the ability to work independently and multi-task
• Requires excellent organizational skills
• Requires computer skills in MS Office applications
