Manager, Supply Chain Information - Food & Beverage
The Manager Supply Chain Information (Food & Beverage) is responsible for the development and maintenance of product specifications, optimizing product costs according to standards, and product specifications for primarily the airline lounge line of business. This is an exempt position and typically reports to the Director Supply Chain Information.
•Product Specifications – Implements product specifications to ensure consistency, quality, and cost effectiveness for specific proposed menus.
•Menu Development – Customizes the current menu development process to product match specific recipe needs while ensuring the product selected are optimal costs, re-use of company specifications, and product availability throughout distributors for 1)new stores, 2)nutritional work, 3) menu redevelopment, and 4)product replacements for cost savings.
•Managed Order Guides – Communicates compliance issues and works with stakeholders (field operations, Supply Chain, Restaurant Development, distribution center) to improve adherence. Quantifies financial opportunities and impact for trends, compliance and cost savings.
•Inventory Management – Develops inventory reports. Monitors, identifies and resolves inventory needs and issues related to the airline lounge line of the business
•Reporting –Ensures online cyclical reports are pulled and organized
•Information – Provides ad hoc data and report to internal departments and external clients for the airline catering line of business.
•Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or other related field
•Requires 3 years of progressive work experience in Food and Beverage, Retail, or Supply Chain
•Requires experience using and understanding data Supply Chain systems
•Experience using central ordering systems preferred
•Requires experience analyzing data for trends
•Requires knowledge of food products and distribution of food products
•Requires understanding of how data flows between systems
•Requires strong attention to detail
•Requires working knowledge of advanced Excel functions (ex. PivotTable, Macro), solid PowerPoint skills
•Experience using financial management systems preferred
•Requires strong technical, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
•Requires ability to travel as needed
