AR Account Specialist


Job Description


The AR Account Specialist is responsible for the customer accounts for all trade receivables. This position is responsible for ensuring that proper collection practices are followed for assigned accounts/customers, managing customer relationships, and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by Management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the AR Collections Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

•Works with customers to ensure correct payments according to agreed upon terms
•Works with AR Payments team to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
•Works with the AR Billing team to ensure invoices are accurate and customers are correctly billed


Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

•Requires a High School diploma or general education development (GED) diploma; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
•Requires 1 year of job related experience
•2-3 years of job related experience preferred
•Requires intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience
•Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with individuals
•Requires basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions
